4/13/2020 0 Comments Tafaol, Crohn's DiseaseTafaol is was diagnosed in June 2016 when she was 12. However, symptoms started in the summer of 2015 and she was diagnosed a year later. This was done through a colonoscopy and an endoscopy, which is when the doctors told her that she had Crohn's Disease. Tafaol didn't know anything about it. The worst thing for her is the daily medication that she is required to take. She said that swallowing pills were the hardest, but she got used to it. Since the disease is chronic, its really difficult. In 2017, she had the worst symptoms and had to take imuran which is an immunosuppressant. 2018 ended up being better for Tafaol. So far, 2019 was the best, and hopefully 2020 will be just as great.
